Many of Menorca’s prehistoric sites with unique monuments have been declared World’s Heritage Sites recently.

Menorca is a true archaeological open-air museum which boasts an extraordinary heritage of more than 1, 500 prehistoric sites with unique monuments in an exceptional state of conservation among which stand out the navetas (burial chambers), talayots (watch towers), taula sanctuaries, círculos (dwellings) and hypostyle chambers.
