Pop into Barcelona’s best local markets

Take part in Barcelona’s gastronomic culture on a visit to an emblematic market where you’ll also try a wide selection of local tapas and drinks. If you want to gain an in-depth insight into Catalan gastronomy, the best way is to visit and discover the fresh, seasonal produce.

What we will visit? You have 3 options:

1 LA BOQUERIA MARKET

Visit Barcelona’s first local market. Offering good food and fresh produce since 1840.

2 SANTA CATERINA MARKET

Visit colorful Santa Caterina Market opened in 1848 and located in La Ribera District near the Picasso Museum in
El Born.

The Market was remodeled by Enric Miralles and Benedetta Tagliabue studio (EMBT) from 1997 to 2005.

3 SANT ANTONI MARKET
